Blog Sitter

Arrangements have been made for this blog to be babysat for me while I’m away. My friend Naomi will be posting the content and pictures that I send her from Mexico and Washington. I’ll only have access to email for those 18 months, so there will be no way for me to manage it myself.

This is her face, agreeing to do this huge favor for me:

She’s great. Y’all will love her. Here’s praying she figures out how to do the internet thing before the big date, but I have the highest hopes! 🙂

(I love you, Naomi. Don’t kill me.)

Preface

Okay, so my mission hasn’t begun yet, and I don’t leave for the Mexico MTC (or Centro De Capacitación Misional México) until July 16th.

I opened my call on April 3rd (video above:), and I just wanted to make sure I got my blog up and running before I left. Because for 18 months, this is going to serve not only as a personal journal of my experiences, but also a news source for all those I won’t have time to communicate with individually via email or snail mail.

So, if you’re a friend, relative or just someone preparing to serve Spanish speaking as well, stay tuned! I hope to keep this as updated as possible.
